Included In our Service

We provide one dedicated van for your belongings only and one man to assist you with your loading and unloading. 

Our quotation includes all fuel costs, tolls, Euro tunnel crossings and insurance and is offered on the assumption that collection and delivery is from the ground floor only. Higher floors can be quoted for but must be notified and agreed in advance.

Exact collection and delivery on the dates agreed at the time of booking.

Protection blankets and straps for larger possessions, items of furniture and white goods.


Not Included in our Service

We do not offer part or shared loads to multiple customers.

We do not provide a second man as standard.

We do not remove items from or place items in to lofts or attics.

We do not supply packing materials or boxes and will not be held liable for any damage to property that has not been adequately packed by the customer.

Under no circumstances will we transport prohibited or stolen goods, drugs, livestock, firearms and ammunition, gas bottles or any goods which require a special licence or government permission for import/export.


Insurance

Once your property is inside our vehicles, it is covered by transit insurance up to a full replacement  value of £25,000. Any items with a replacement value of £500 or more must be notified to us in advance by completing a valued inventory form which will be supplied at the time of booking.

Should the total of your property exceed the full replacement value or if you have any valuable or sentimental items that you are unable to carry yourself, please consult your own insurer for peace of mind and to arrange additional cover. 


Claims Procedure

Any visible loss, damage or failure to produce an item must be notified at the time of delivery, no responsibility will be accepted after the completion of the contract.

Any other incident that may give rise to a claim must be notified to us without unreasonable delay.


Exclusions

Damage arising as a result of packing which was inadequate to withstand normal handling during transit.

Mechanical, electrical or electronic breakdown, failure or derangement.

Any item, pair or set of items with a value exceeding £500 where a valued inventory form has not been completed, signed and returned to us prior to the commencement of transit.


Customer Responsibilities

By entering into this agreement, you guarantee you are the owner of the goods to be removed and that they will be dismantled (where necessary) disconnected, adequately packed and ready for loading upon arrival of our vehicle on the agreed collection date.

All domestic and garden appliances must be disconnected, defrosted, clean and dry with no residual fluids left in them. This includes (but is not limited to) washing machines, dish washers, fridges and freezers, petrol lawn mowers and hose pipes.

The customer should ensure parking for loading/unloading is as close to the properties as possible and arrange any parking permits required in advance. Any fines received will be the responsibility of the customer and must be paid on the day.


Other Conditions

If our drivers receive verbal or physical abuse by the customer or any person associated with the move, they will leave and you will forfeit your payment.

We reserve the right to change your delivery date due to traffic delays, Euro tunnel delays or extreme weather conditions. We obviously do all we can to collect and deliver on your chosen dates and will always keep you fully informed at all times. We will not be liable for costs arising from delays outside of our control.


Payment & Cancellation Terms

Please note that we cannot confirm a date for your removal without payment of a deposit.

We ask for a deposit of 40% with all balances due on delivery.

We reserve the right to retain your deposit should you cancel your booking within 7 days of collection. 

We accept payment by secure bank transfer and via Paypal.


Complaints Procedure 

Should you have any cause for complaint, please contact us in writing by e mail detailing the reason for your dissatisfaction and we endeavour to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

We can only provide you with an accurate quotation from the information you give us. Try to be honest and give no misleading information.
